Dr. Rahmadon Sampaikan Orasi Ilmiah pada Yudisium FAI USM

Dr. Rahmadon, M.Ed menyampaikan orasi ilmiah pada yudisium perdana Fakultas Agama Islam (FAI) Universitas Serambi Mekkah di Banda Aceh, Selasa (20/02/2018).
FAI merupakan Fakultas yang bertransformasi dari 3 Fakultas Keagamaan dalam lingkungan USM di bawah koordinator Kopertais Wilayah V Aceh sesuai dengan Keputusan Rektor USM.
Acara Yudisium tersebut turut dihadiri oleh Rektor USM yang diwakili oleh Wakil Rektor 1, Ir T Makmur, MA, Kepala Biro Univeritas Serambi Mekkah, para ketua prodi dan dosen serta segenap civitas akademika Fakultas tersebut.
Dekan Fakultas Agama Islam (FAI) USM, Dr. Andri Nirwana, MA dalam sambutannya mengatakan bahwa sebanyak 25 orang mengikuti yudisium.
“25 orang yang yudisium hari ini berasal dari 4 prodi yang ada di fakutas FAI ini, dan jumlah ini menjadi lebih sedikit dari yudisium tahun lalu,” ujarnya.
Dekan FAI tersebut berharap mahasiswa yang sudah yudisium supaya dapat mengaplikasikan ilmu yang diperoleh dari PT dengan maksimal dalam masyarakat dengan mengedepankan nilai-nilai ketaqwaan dan amanah integritas dan jiwa interprenership.
Dalam Orasinya, Dr. Rahmadon memaparkan tentang tantangan yang harus dihadapi para lulusan dan juga Perguruan Tinggi dewasa ini dalam fungsi mengambil peran dan bekerjasama di dunia nyata.
Ia menyebutkan, lulusan Perguruan Tinggi (PT) di Indonesia hari ini hanya mampu mengisi 11% jumlah angkatan kerja nasional, dan diperkirakan angka itu hanya naik 3% nanti pada tahun 2030. Malaysia saja saat ini berada di 22%. ini menjadi tantangan serius bagi lulusan dalam merebut lapangan kerja.
“Lima hari yang lalu Presiden Jokowi menyampaikan ‘ancaman’ akan memberikan ruang bagi universitas asing di Indonesia apabila PT tetap tidak mau berinovasi dalam mengembangkan Peran menghasilkan lulusan yang mampu berdikari dan mandiri,” ujar Rahmadon.
Dr Rahmadon, yang merupakan alumni S3 Universitas Sennar Sudan ini mengatakan, perlu kerja keras yang nyata dari PT dan seluruh lulusan dalam hal menjawab tantangan yang sedang mengancam ini. Berinovasi dalam setiap langkah kerja dan capaian yang ditetapkan Universitas merupakan salah satu solusi yang bisa dilakukan.
“Para mahasiswa harus dibekali dengan pengetahuan Intepreunership yang tepat dan pemahaman nilai-nilai Luhur dan jiwa leadership yang mumpuni sehingga mampu bersaing secara global,” tambahnya.
